Bob, a real estate enthusiast, has spent his entire career working in all aspects of real estate.  He  came to Helen Adams with an extensive background including commercial property management, asset management, and acquisitions.  He acted as an advisor to public pension funds, corporate money sources and  private family trust.   Bob has a degree in finance from Louisiana State University.  His extensive real estate and financial background as well as asset and market knowledge gives him an exceptionally strong skill set to focus on residential and investment sales/ purchases. 

 

Bob began his real estate career in New Orleans soon after college.  He moved from sunny and hot New Orleans with his wife, two young children and small dog to the Chicagoland area where he directed the expansion  of a large real estate firm.  Talk about a climate change and move adjustment!  Bob and his family settled in Winnetka, IL and found it to be an ideal and beautiful place to raise his  family and find lifelong friends.  Eight years ago Bob and his wife, Jan, moved to Charlotte.  He is now very proud to call Charlotte his home.  Charlotte has friendly people, a central location, mild climate, accessibility to the perfect neighborhood,  great restaurants, sports, proximity to mountains and beaches to name only a few things that make it a great place to live.  No surprise that Charlotte is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation.      

I know what it is like to move around the corner in a neighborhood (we did this) and to move across the country.  I understand the many details that go with moving including finding the ideal home and neighborhood, seeking new friends, researching schools, doctors, and much more.  We have been very fortunate and happy, but it is not just luck.  With every move I carefully considered our own needs and did extensive market analysis, location and home research.   Whether you are moving from within or outside of Charlotte; selling or purchasing; a first time home owner or already in the market; looking for one or more investment properties, I would welcome the opportunity to use my years of experience and extensive real estate knowledge to help you achieve your real estate dreams.      - Bob Fitzhugh
